1. The two “singers” in this video are Minister Cleo Clariet and his fiancé Katherine Lane performing on a local TV show in Mississippi. The Minister is no longer with us, he’s, uh, found out whether or not there’s breakfast in heaven. So I don’t think I can make fun of him too much.
2. Is that what people eat for breakfast in Mississippi? I get the steak and eggs thing, but chicken? Pork Chops? Soda pop? We are still talking about breakfast, right?

I just saw a commercial for high fructose corn syrup. Have you seen it?
So I went to www.sweetsurprise.com. It looks to me like the main argument for HFCS is, “It’s just like sugar!” Oh, ok. We all know how good sugar is for us…just like eating a fresh strawberry. Yup, nothin’ but healthy eating there. I’m suddenly reminded of a scene in a classic Disney movie…..
Now, I don’t have any plans to completely eliminate HFCS from my diet mainly because it’s nearly impossible to avoid, but I’m not going to pretend that it’s good for me. Then again, I guess they’re not trying to convince that it is good for me, just that it’s not that bad, or at least not any worse than sugar. Well, when you put it that way…..
Can you believe it? YetAnotherBlog has reached 300 posts…well, 303 to be exact. The 300 mark whizzed right by me unnoticed. So I thought I’d take a moment to celebrate.
