2. A Holidaotic Train Wreck

I imagine the writing session went something like this. 

“Hey – let’s write a patriotic song that we can put on the Christmas record!”

“Genius! That’ll sell millions. But how do you combine the two?”

“It’s simple. Here, write down a list of Christmas phrases…you know like ’snow is falling all around’ and I’ll write down a list of patriotic phrases like, ‘God Bless the USA.’ Then we’ll just string them together in a semi rhyming pattern.”
